The 2004 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay shows lovely stonefruit, floral aromas and a hint of oak on the nose, while the palate exhibits full pineapple, peach and ripe citrus flavours. The palate has fabulous weight and texture, while the finish is long and lingering. A very balanced wine offering a fantastic combination of fruit, oak and richness.

The Estate Merlot shows the lovely ripe characters that Merlot developed during the wonderful 2004 season.

The vintage of 2004 maximized the ripe characters of Merlot, with a fabulous long summer of sunny days and warm temperatures. The Estate Merlot shows vanilla notes and dark red plum aromas. These characters intensify on the palate, which is smooth and rich, with a long warm finish. An excellent partner for pasta dishes, lamb and game.

Wild Rose04

Created as a pure expression of the wonderful red berry characters of ripe Merlot.
The vibrant colour of this wine gives an immediate indication of the vibrant flavours to come. Fresh dark cherries with hints of pear treat the taste buds. Using cold temperatures to extract colour and character from Merlot retains these flavours without the structure of tannin.

Malbec04

Predominantly Malbec, with 14% Merlot added for extra fruit richness, this wine shows lovely white pepper notes and blackcurrant aromas, while the palate offers cinnamon spice and rich dark fruit.

The finish is warm and lengthy with hints of coffee and fruitcake. Something a little different from Merlot, which will compliment more spicy red meat dishes.
