A quality shiraz from the Pyrenees regions. Nose: Lovely sweet black fruit aromas. Palate: Juicy concentrated blackberry flavours are complemented by subtle French oak notes. It finishes with an impressively long, clean finish. Reviews: A deep ruby core. The nose is harmonised with notes of stewed black cherry notes as well as a touch of black pepper and juniper. The oak presents as quite mocha in character. This wine is generously textured with glyceric mouthfeel and it almost has the illusion of sugar. Lots of stewed blueberries on the palate. The tannin is well integrated and has the finest grain. A hedonistic and fruit driven wine, it is drinking well now and will do so up to 5 years. Good length and persistence of flavour.
