Virtual Cellar Door ®

History

The Virtual Cellar Door web site started in 1999 and at first was designed to provide useful information about the wonderful wineries around Australia.

It did not take long before it became apparent there was a real desire to allow wine purchases to be made from the actual wineries rather than a bottle shop or wholesaler.

We felt it was important for wine lovers to be able to buy cellar door wine and have it processed and dispatched by the winery, keeping the close contact with the cellar door and customer.

Some of the wineries here only sell from the cellar door so if you don't order from here you will need to visit in person !

Our involvement

All orders placed here are processed entirely by the winery.

The winery will handle your order and your payments exactly the same as if you were at the cellar door.

The winery will dispatch your wine directly to you, our only involvement is to provide the facility to allow it to happen in a secure and easy way.

We use High-Grade Encryption (AES-256 256 bit) implementation of SSL to ensure your privacy and security.
