About us

Longleat is a picturesque Victorian vineyard situated on the west bank of the Goulburn River at Murchison. The 40 acre property grows Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for premium red wines and Semillon and Riesling grapes for delicate white wines.

There are 22 acres currently under vine with room to extend plantings to around 31 acres. Our oldest vines are 27 year old Shiraz from which we produce our premium red. The Cabernet, Semillon and Reisling vines date from the early 80s.

All grapes grown at Longleat are handpicked, to ensure maximum quality and to protect the root structure of the vines. It is this kind of commitment that ensures Longleat wines are consistent award winners in leading shows in Australia.

Visitors are encouraged to relax and taste the wines under the vined pergola. Picnickers are welcome and functions can be catered for at the vineyard.
