St.Agnes Cellars at Tea Tree Gully stands as a lasting monument to Dr. W.T. Angove, founder of Angoves Winemakers and Distillers, established in 1886.The site is the home of Australias Number 1, St. Agnes Brandy. Today, Angoves is one of a small band of substantial Australian wine companies to remain family owned and operated.The family tradition continues with the 5th.Generation family member now working in the business. Whilst the original stone winery still exists, the site now houses the Sales and Marketing departments for both domestic and export. The centre for wine making operations has moved to Renmark in South Australias Riverland. Visitors are welcome to visit and taste a range of the company products at the original Cellar Door, these include the internationally successful,Long Row,and Bear Crossing wines and Butterfly Ridge wines as well as the new Stones Ginger Beer.
